What is Podiatry?
Podiatry is the study of the normal and abnormal structure and function of the lower limb and foot. A podiatrist is a health professional who deals with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of health problems of this area.
All Podiatrists in working in Singapore need to possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognised University. Membership with the Podiatry Association (Singapore) is also preferred.
Consultation with a member of the Podiatry Association (Singapore) ensures you are being treated by a Podiatrist whose qualifications are recognized by the national body and who abides by the professional standards of this body.
